The Holidays are right around the corner so that means unpacking cherished holiday mementos. Problem is, after a year of being stored away they they can be invested with dust mites. To improve health around this time of year there is an easy fix. If the item is washable, clean it in hot water. If an item can't get wet or is heat sensitive, put it in a plastic bag and freeze it for 3-5 hrs. The extreme temp change and lack of air will be sure to scare those critters away.
